How to become a customer at JBF

We are very pleased that you are concidering to become a customer at JBF.

Join the JBF family

Our insurances are only provided for selected customers. As an employee for one of our partners (normally businesses operating within the railway industry) you are welcome to become an insurance customer in Jbf. If one of your parents is a customer, you can become one, too. Our bank has no such limitations.

Our electronic solution for becoming a customer is currently only in Norwegian, but we are happy to receive your request by phone.

What do you need to bring?

  • Valid passport
  • Your Norwegian personal number or D-number
  • National identity card and your Norwegian permanent residence card 

When you visit the bank office for the first time, you have to bring a valid passport. If you don't have a passport, you can apply for basic banking services with your valid National identity card (EU/EEA/EFTA nationals only) - or a valid Norwegian permanent residence card. In addition, you will need to bring the official documentation confirming your Norwegian personal number or D-number (social security code).
